Enhanced Status Snapshots source!

We’ve added Destination and Derivation tables to our UK Legislation Status Snapshots source! Destination and Derivation Tables provide a crucial link between old and new law where a statute is repealed and consolidated in a new statute. The Destination tables allow the user to trace forwards from old law to new, while the Derivation tables allow the user to trace backwards from new law to old.

It must be noted these tables are based on the official HMSO tables for consolidations and rewrites. So statutes without an official table are outside the scope of this source. Destination and Derivation tables will be available at Act level and at Section level. Here’s what this enhancement will look like in the UK Legislation Status Snapshots source:

Name change of key tax title

The online name for our popular tax source “Tax Tables” has changed to “Whillans’s Tax Tables”. Known and respected for their accuracy, Whillans’s Tax Tables contain all the data you need in practice. With the latest tax rates, allowances and reliefs, Whillans’s Tax Tables enables you to quickly make calculations with accurate data.

The latest update coming soon in early September will be completely up-to-date as of the 2nd Finance Act 2010, including new information on benefits in kind; PAYE settlement agreements; personal service companies; managed service companies; and student loan repayments. In addition to this, this update contains all of the Emergency Budget measures, including the substantial changes to capital gains tax, VAT and income tax threshold as well as information on the new Revenue exchange rates and the updated retail price indices.

Securitisation Law & Practice: EU & US Disclosure Regulations
Available on menus including Legal Library, Lexis Nexis Library and Tax Library.

Securitisation Law: EU and US Disclosure Regulations sets out the relevant regulations governing asset backed securities in the US and the EU. It provides the most up-to-date commentary and checklists alongside practical aids such as flow charts relating to disclosure regulations of asset backed securities governed by the EU prospectus directive and prospectus regulation, and the US Regulation AB. The source also contains a discussion on the latest case law (including case studies) and critical legal issues.

It is intended to meet the demand of international practitioners, and also to set out a comparative methodology that will allow practitioners to decide regulatory compliance issues relating to a particular jurisdiction and to help determine whether a particular approach is sufficiently credible against comparative benchmarks.
